Sept 22 Update

Hey folks,

Quick update on the project status:

• We have chosen a vendor for the print run.
• Second set of physical test proofs have been reviewed and final files are at the printer.
• We have set up a DriveThruComics account for digital delivery and we should be on target to delivery the digital copies to everyone by end of September / early October.
• Backerkit is mostly set up. As soon as possible, we will send out a survey to collect shipping addresses and charges for shipping the physical copies. If all goes well, we think we can start sending packages out by the third week of October.
• We are eargerly awaiting the first sketches from Tomás for Issue #2.
• In the meantime, Jesse and Devinder are plotting out the script for Issue #3.
• The Spanish translation for the Issue #1 script has been written by Mishka, and is being reviewed. We hope it will be available at the same time as the other PDFs.
• And now the most fun part, some preview images of the physical proofs!

OTHER PROJECTS

In addition to Dead Money, Jesse and Devinder are going to be included in Subversive Sci-Fi Evolution V5 — More Reflections on Futuristic Films That Broke the Rules. 

It's a terrific collection of authors writing about a dazzling range of SF movies - some underappreciated classics, some hidden gems, and some acquired tastes. But all discussed with clever humor and sharp insight. Please check out the campaign here:

Hey folks,

Quick update on the project status:

• Print test two is under way evaluating a second vendor.
• Variant covers are almost finished (still tweaking).
• Script for Issue #2 finished and art work begun.
• Script for issue #3 begun.
• We have bags & boards and Gemini mailers to evaluate shipping.
• Next week we are aiming to get Backerkit sorted to request shipping, taxes and tariffs to keep the September fulfillment schedule.
